I've seen hundreds of remix and covers of this song and no one has ever come close to the original singer. I've yet to see any of our current young hmong artists took these original classics to the next level. I don't know anyone out there that would even come closed to the original but if I have to choose, I'd say, Pat(lead singer from Hmong suddenrush band) would have the voice to re-energize this true classic song.

Sundincubus parkou thao comes close. She took that video off of her KZbin channel. She sounded better. There is clip of singing it on instagram if search up istahmong page on there. Pakou's version sounds just like Maiv Muas even though she only sang a little of it. You will fall in love with her cover. She has an angelic voice.
