Princess Diana was going to or coming back from the gym at the Harbour Club, when wearing cycling shorts. I am pretty sure she also went to the shops on High Street Kensington dressed like that. I think part of it was pushing the boundaries at the time and showing she did have some freedom of choice.

The most annoying this is finding clothing that isn’t any of this. I can’t go anywhere and find a full length shirt, pants that aren’t hiked up to my rib cage and baggy, or puffer coats. It’s really difficult to find clothing that is good quality and still affordable.

In South Africa there were people going to the store wearing loungewear and slipper shoes. Our supermarkets issued a ban on these outfits preventing you from entering the premises. Wish they had done that with the see through yoga pants too.

Jeans. I worked in retail. I had a farmer couple come in. They told me when you work on a farm, you’ll never wanna see jeans again. Before that, I was always wearing jeggings (still do but only if the occasion calls for it, but switching over to double lined linen pants was the best decision ever made. Linen is so much better, comfortable, and breathable

Hej Anna, I am not really an elegant lady, most of the times it just doesn't fit to my personality (except at certain performing occasions or other events), but I love your videos. And I agree with you pretty much in anything in this video. Although I ride a bicycle almost everywhere and almost every day of the year when the weather allows, I would never show up walking in the street in such shorts. I wear a skirt or a dress for biking too, and shorts or leggings under that. This way I am comfortable and safe on the bike and presentable and pretty when I get off. Crop tops are also only good as sports wear. Oh yeah, and your sense of humor is great, too👍😃

Yes! I love this and your content. I'm petite and short and my late grandma taught me everything about fashion, which was of elegance and class, and that never goes out of date. Can you please do a video, even though you aren't short, on classy styles for petite short gals? Maybe too niche. I also love the bit about the boots and pajama pants. One thing I really appreciate from athleisure is that it led to some brand making more formal styles of dress comfortable and exercise friendly . Like I can wear high waisted trousers from Halara to walk my dogs or garden and feel like I’m wearing track pants while looking as put together as I am going to work. I’ve also noticed that actual trousers made of wool are being made much more comfortable than twenty years ago. On the other hand not everything can look good and be comfortable, it is very hard to find real blue jeans, which if you want to look good should not be comfortable or stretchy.

My most unfavorite of KK & her sissy was when they attended that Indian wedding. It wasn't so much their ourfits, but their faces, expressions, and discomfort in their body language that screamed they were uncomfortable and had clearly overdone their attempts to over do it. I now realize moreso why I don't find trendy to be something I go with. I appreciate classic, elegant, even sexy on the right occasion and time. There's a time and place of course. But trendy, especially out of young Hollywood, has always been non-sensical at times. Sometimes it's a hide me factor, but other times as you mentioned it's just obviously trying too hard. I enjoy listening to your in-depth videos. I was raised by my dad and was taught certain things, and then I had a job very early in life in the mature / career woman fashion industry. It was my job to put together appropriate outfits for daily situations they would be facing. Both of those experiences taught me a lot. I enjoy watching your videos, very in-depth.

Hoodies are a tough call, it depends on styling. A monochromatic look with a soft quality made hoodie that's styled (correctly) can look very classic and elegant to someone of my age (born 1995)

@@MoontanMedia I live in a very warm climate so the few days that it's really cold, I fall back on jeans and a hoodie that I usually keep for camping to do errands. I have a few nice, expensive warm items but they are not suitable for going to the supermarket or park with the dog.

Hi Anna :). I agree with you on most of the content. The cycling shorts can be useful sometimes under a skirt. I used to hate the cropped top. Now I think that for a girl in her 20's or 30's, if it can be combined with an A line skirt or flared jeans and wedges, it can look really nice and feminine, during summer for example.
