Great tips! I used to lift the color with my clean brush, but the califlower effect is a good way to lift the highlight.

Hi Anna, Just wanted to let you know that I followed your suggestions and bought the size 4 and 16 Escoda Mimak Synthetic paint brushes and the Arches 💯 percent cotton, hot pressed paper and used them to create my illustrations. Colors are mostly QOR, some Daniel Smith and W&N. all brushes are Escoda Chronos or Escoda Reserva 😊
