I relate so hard. So I’m not very good at my native language and I’m so much more comfortable speaking English and I feel so guilty about it because my parents are trilinguals 💀 and here I am, barely a bilingual lol but we move. I just talk to myself randomly throughout the day in my native language so I don’t forget it too much and build up on my vocabulary😊 or you could try doing a: “speaking Russian for 24 hours challenge” for yourself and gather vocabs throughout the day

Да не особо присутствует акцент, это больше от интонации. Так она и у меня появилась за 13 лет жизни в другой стране

Hi Anna, I speak spanish and now learning english. And because I´m an spanish native, i recommend you the mexican accent: it´s much easier to understand (as you said in the video) and is more common in the latinoamerica world. As a Dominican myself, it’s very cool to hear that your favorite accent in Spanish is the Dominican accent. I moved to USA when I was 9 and I’m currently 17, and my Hispanic friends are all mostly Mexican and sometimes they find it difficult to understand my accent. So it is true that it is hard to understand, but you got this!

5:43 i usually really like the "neutral" accents (e.g: the ones from Central America) because when i hear them they sound naturally polite and it's just nice to hear. I'm paraguayan (it's a country located below Argentina) and our accent is pretty neutral as well, but i just think it's gonna be much easier to find resources for an accent from Central America. There's also a big difference between the way you speak if you're from Mexico or Spain, or if you're from Argentina or Paraguay (in Spain you'd say "tú eres feliz", and in Argentina "vos sos feliz"), so i think that's something you should look at as well and see what you prefer. Btw, your accent is so good, you inspire me so much ;).

@@naomiproteasa2892 yeah in India we actually speak 2 languages on a daily basis. English is my third language. I learnt Latin for a while and also Some German because I was bored. The key is to learn a few words per day. Or maybe add 2 words to your dictionary. For Spanish and Irish, I use Duolingo since I'm not familiar with those. For latin, I conjured up a lot of sources and some occult books with a mixture of Duolingo. And English I learnt at school. The two languages Hindi and Marathi were like the ones I spoke at home everyday Hope this helped!

Me sentí realmente sorprendida por tu español, es muy bueno 😭 eso sí, encontré algunas fallas pero fueron una o dos, en cosas totalmente pequeñas. Con lo que sabes, creo que es suficiente para que te puedas comunicar un poco. Sobre los acentos, personalmente recomiendo que escuches el de México, más que nada para que te puedas facilitar un poco más, ya que el acento mexicano es "neutro" (en mayoría) y no tiene ese dejo/acento característico del dominicano, que te podría hacer confundir entre palabras y, claro, cuando manejes al completo el español entenderías tanto en el acento dominicano como los otros que hay en toda Latinoamérica y España, pero como lo dicho anteriormente, preferible el mexicano por su particular "simplicidad". Y por cierto, creo que tienes más acento mexicano, además usas algunas expresiones más conocidas del país jaja como "a lo mejor" o "de momento". You are doing well. Mucha suerte 💖

I agree as well! I am Dominican and although my Spanish is not the best hers was very well said! Dominican Spanish is also known as a more broken Spanish, so I would stick with Mexican accent or Colombian which is also my favorite.

Your Spanish is exceptional for someone who isn’t a native speaker of any Romance language , I personally speak English , Portuguese , Spanish, French and Italian fluently , my accent when speaking Spanish is from Spain and that’s the one I would recommend you learning but I’ve been told that the Colombian accent is the one that sounds the most attractive .

Вообще я татарка по национальности, и в детстве родственники общались со мной на смешннном русско-татарском, я прекрасно все понимала, но не говорила на нем, не заставляли. Сейчас у меня есть пробелы и в татарском, так как я давно переехала в Санкт-Петербург из Уфы. Во всех языках, которые я знаю, имеется некая база, которая не доводиться доконца. Со одной стороны мне нравится изучать языки, мне интересно, а с другой стороны мне не хватает терпения, сложно от того, что необходимо много учить, да еще и практиковать миллион раз. Muy buen video. Estudie hace mucho tiempo ingles y ver tus videos me ayuda a recordar y mantener mi "ni nivel de ingles" por así decirlo intacto. Sobre el acento, en mi humilde opinión como hispano hablante, me gustaría recomendar el acento de mi país que es el peruano, ya que creo yo que es uno de los mas neutros y fáciles de entender para los extranjeros. Sigue así aprendiendo nuevos idiomas y algún día podrás conversar con cualquier persona del mundo. Espero este comentario en español te ayude mas a comprender este idioma y para hacerlo interesante escribiré una frase/ jerga (slang) de mi país con su significado para que puedas aprender mas, aquí va :" causa(friend), combi(bus), tabas(sneakers) ".Sigue así con tus videos que estoy seguro que inspiran a mucha gente. Ya que no hay sonidos como la /c/ o la /z/, creo que resulta más fácil y, a diferencia, de algunos acentos latinoamericanos, como es el caso del dominicano, no mezclamos sonidos como la /r/ o la /l/, que pueden dificultar la comprensión.
