Is it a surprise that foreign agencies in TN? I don't think we should be surprised. Foreigners saw this opportunity when EVR begged the British not to leave. Now, all we have is an resurgence. It can only eb stamped out if the Centre puts its foot down and takes complete action. Unfortunately, our current BJP led government is afraid of other constitutional authorities such as the SC. They're afraid that if they act, these nefarious elements will approach the SC to retake their space in Indian politics. We're not at all realising the damage we're doing to our own country by ignoring the activities of parties like the INC, DMK and TMC.

An excellent presentation. There is little doubt that sections of the mainstream Christian churches, who are the many backers of the Dravidian movement in Tamilnadu, feel rattled by the possibility of BJP emerging as a major power in the State. They want to prevent this possibility at all costs. Hence, their support for Simon and Vijay. Incidentally, there is no problem in a Christian making a mark in politics. We have the case of the late George Fernandes and the late Poorna Sangma, who were practicing Christians, rising to senior positions. Nobody, not even the BJP, made an issue of their religious identity. But, Simon and Vijay trying portray themselves as 'non Christians', despite being Christians and getting support from some Christian groups, certainly reflects a level of intellectual dishonesty.
