Yeah it had a bumpy start. I didn't like the first 20 episodes so I didn't really get into it until last year but I'm glad I'm watching it now

I agree. but on the upside, those first 20 episodes did connect with stuff that happens later on. like the cheeseburger backpack episode, or the watermelon Stevens. But then you get episodes like the test. or the season 3 premiere.

Sean M.D that's true, so in the end you do have to watch them. But it feels more like a chore at the point because since you HAVE to watch the bad episodes to understand late, good episodes. Most of the time it isn't a problem in most shows, but they just kinda throw you into the series without explaining anything. I know why they did this, to slowly expand the lore as time goes on, but it makes it feel mediocre at first, and the characters kinda acted 1 dimensional at first too. But ever since mirror gem it's gotten so much better

Most people portray Pearl in this song full of resentment towards Greg, which is perfectly acceptable and all but many people leave out the raw grief in her voice. Love it. Pearl is my 3rd favorite character right after Steven and Garnet. I love they're personalities. Pearl:Overprotective, Strong, Intelligent Amethyst:Goofy, bad girl, Greedy Garnet(Ruby and Sapphire):Strong, Intelligent, Leadership, calm(most of the time).
