The route is pretty clear to follow. You can always double check with the local people whenever you reach a rest point(teahouse) to confirm if you are going the right direction. We did come across afew people who were doing the trek on their own too. But it totally depends on you , you could get a guide if you feel uncomfortable doing it solo.

Crampons are available to hire in Deurali but both of us did not use any crampons at all. We managed just fine. The trail is easy to follow and we did see couple of solo travellers. Hi! Amazing video! You went during the winter time and there was snow on top. What kind of hiking shoes did you wear for the entire hike and did you get them in Nepal? Did you also use gaitors and brought your own sleeping bag or its not necessary? Also it didn't seem like you were wearing a thick jacket, isnt it very cold? Haha.
@MomtaSujaanTravelDiaries6 жыл бұрын
Jian C thank u for watching . I wore a North face hiking shoes bought in Uk . We took our own sleeping bags. During the hike itself especially in the afternoon was very hot but cold in the morning and evening . It was cold at ABC but my fleece and outer jacket kept me warm . Hope that helps !

Sameer Regmi October is a pretty popular time to trek so I assume it will be busy. But it’s nice talking to trekkers along the way .

Well taken! Well shooted. Let viewers know more about Annapurna Base Camp. Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trekking is a moderate adventure trekking route in the Himalayas and the best trekking route to see the mountain lives, ethnic diversity, terraced farmlands, the Charming Gurung village, and a wide variety of flora and fauna. We offer a package of ABC trek which is an excellent introduction to trekking in the magnificent mountains of Nepal. During the trekking, we go through the beautiful rhododendron forests (which bloom in red and pink in March & April), follow the Modi River (which carries the icy water from the snow mountains), and see closely Mt. Annapurna South, Himchuli and Fishtail (the sacred mountain queen). After admiring the beautiful sunrise with 14 snow-mountain peaks like Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) and Mt. Manaslu (8163m) in Poonhill, you can see a breathtaking sunrise again in ABC - a 360-degree snow-mountain view with the Annapurna I, the 10th highest mountain in the world, just in front of you. find more details of the trek from here:- www.missionhimalayatreks.com/annapurna-base-camp-trekking book from here with 30% off www.missionhimalayatreks.com/package/send/annapurna-base-camp-trekking #annapurnabasecamptrek

I went to ABC in November of 2016 but the view isn’t as amazing as yours with snow. I’m planning to go back in 2019. What is the best month to climb ABC with snow like you did?
@MomtaSujaanTravelDiaries6 жыл бұрын
Carl Nombrado Hi, thank u for watching . We did in March 2017. Snow is normally more expected around Dec- Mar. But weather can be unpredictable . Have u any plans on doing EBC???
@carln44066 жыл бұрын
Hello momta! Thanks. EBC is just part of my dreams. I think getting there takes a lot of time which I don’t have when applying for vacation leaves at work. I can only allot 14 days trek. Is it possible to do EBC in 14 days. What is the least number of day trekking EBC?
@MomtaSujaanTravelDiaries6 жыл бұрын
Hi Carl, I think 14 days might be doable but extremely tight . The weather can be very unpredictable. Just one day flight delay can mess up your whole plan. U would be taking a big risk/chance here. So advisable not to do in 14 days. I wish you all the best for your future endeavors.

Hi there..amazing video guys..Loads of love 2 u ppl...can u answer my 2 questions pls..firstly may I know dat is it possible to trek alone? i mean if a guy is alone, is there any chance of him losing the way to ABC..is it safe? Secondly did u went there in the beginning of March or at the end of the month?
@MomtaSujaanTravelDiaries6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I can say that it is possible to trek alone as we met quite a few people who were trekking on their own. The trek is pretty easy to follow and you can always chat with the people on your every stop (teahouses) to make sure. We went around late March. Hope this helps.

Hey, your video is awesome! My friends and I have a plan to go to ABC in Nov, your itinerary is different from mine. Maybe your itinerary can be my alt. plan, but there's some questions : 1. How to get to Siwai from Pokhara? Do you rent private jeep or sharing jeep? If you rent private jeep, do you have jeep driver contact? 2. Are you go with guide? If yes, how you hire the guide? 3. Himalaya is MBC or it's different? 4. I have the same question with @Fontenoy58, so we have to prebook lodge in ABC from MBC one night before? Thank a lot and sorry for my bad english :)
@MomtaSujaanTravelDiaries7 жыл бұрын
Hi, was away in the wild for a while. Jeep/Car will go to Siwai, or local buses as well. No need to contact, the jeep leaves from lakeside We didn't use a guide MBC is higher, 2 stops after Himalaya better to prebook Hope this helps, enjoy the trek & beautiful Nepal
