Annapurna Base Camp Trek! (6 days) - Nepal Travel Vlog / Short Film 2024!

Hi there, this is a short film of our experience doing the Annapurna base camp trek in 6 days (4 days are shown on the film as we lost our last 2 through altitude sickness!! Which is no joke).
I could not recommend this trek or visiting Nepal more!!
This trek is best done in 7 days. It is a great way to experience Nepali culture and food. Trekking with a guide in Nepal is essential in my opinion to those more novice adventurers. They are knowledgeable, friendly, communicate with other locals in the villages to make your life a little bit easier.

They were amazing especially when my girlfriend came down sick with altitude sickness.
Keep in mind when visiting Nepal to always respect the landscape, being up high you are in the hands of Mother Nature so always acknowledge this and stay in the moment.
Remember you will need to accomodate travel days to and from the Annapurna region (a 20min flight / 10hr bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara- then a 2-3hr journey to start the trek in Annapurna region).
We did this 6 day trek as a part of a 2 week visit to Nepal which was perfect.

Hi Mate. Took me 4 days to get back down but left my keys at base camp so went back up. Then my cat got altitude sickness so I had him evacuated.

Wow the majestic himalayas! We are doing this next yr but concerned abt the steep yphill steps on Day 1. I read somewhere its aroun 3800 or 4800 uphill steps? Are there any cliff drop sites that you have to trek by? Scared of heights 😅🤪😰

The first day has a lot of stairs but it is relatively short and intense (takes about 6-7 hours) whereas on the later days you will be walking for a bit longer with a more gradual slope. There’s no steep drops the trail is very very safe to trek. It is mostly gradual inclines

I met some people who were doing it solo. They do check your trekking permits at jhinu however so my advice would be to go with a guide. We went with adventure great himalaya. Especially if you go in the peak months where tea house availability might be poor
