I have had a cut spike in water for 5 months and it now has produced a keiki with 3 leaves. It doesnt have roots. If at any point the spike begins to die I will try this method. Thank you for sharing.

Well eventually the spike started to die. I tried this method and got mold. I gave up and cut the keiki off. It never grew a root. This method did not work for me. Maybe my fault as I didnt think to sanitize the moss @@yolyrom7233
