That's it. I love the character, but the real Anne, although very sad what happened to her, ..was still a mistress who, quite frankly stole another woman's husband, and technically was never really married to Henry. Her family plotted to gain power, she was reportedly not so kind to courtiers or her step daughter. She only hated Mary and KoA because they were a threat to the lifestyle she sought after, not because they did anything to her. Dormer made her attractive and likeable, but the real woman wouldnt have given us peasants the time of day and had us all executed for heresy.

She really didn't have much choice except she put him off as she did not want to be a mistress...it was Henry's idea to make her his wife and then it all snowballed in a way no one could have predicted, least of all Anne. She had no royal protection like Katherine did, only Henry's love for her...and he swore all kinds of love and devotion to her...until he changed his mind, and she took the fall. He wanted her erased from history, well, that didn't happen, in fact quite the opposite. So yes, Team Anne all the way.

Yeah it's true i started loving Anne because of Natalie's impersonation of her but then i read everything about her and i still love her, yes she wasn't a true beauty and yes she stole the king heart, but what she lived is really well shown by Natalie's acting. Henry viii may have been intoxicated by lust for power even after her death, but she was the one who triggered the entire process. Listening to Claire Ridgeway's videos (I can't know if you did, but she's the most famous historian who has this take on Henry and Anne Boleyn) is a good way to get familiar with this topic, but remember, her perspective is heavily biased towards Anne Boleyn. Also, I'm not interested on who wanted who. Anne was also a victim, before becoming queen, I recognize it. But in order to be a good person (which is more important than being a feminist), she should have known what was right and take a step behind, because her situation was of her own doing in the first place. Her reputation was already ruined after her affair with Henry Percy, she hadn't good chances to contract a great marriage in any case, even if henry hadn't noticed her (notice how her only latter other suitor was a divorced poet, and it might also have been a courtly love type). She brought the disgrace on herself, with her careless behaviour (and yes, I am just thinking about percy, regardless of her supposed "guilt" with four men, and regardless had she and percy slept together or not) and when she saw an opportunity to get a bigger price, she simply went with it ruthlessy, knowing she would have wrecked a family in doing so.

She had a great fault in my opinion: her self entitlement (similarly to her mother). Elizabeth Tudor was besides an old fashioned monarch, who liked to swallow into luxury and saved money on the poor's shoulders, just like her mother had spent extravagantly for her and herself. Not bad, for a reluctant queen. Last but not least: she found herself in the same position than mary i, who was such a tyrant, that spared elizabeth's life, and executed mary queen of scots, of whom she was also jealous.
