Anne was just as crazy about Gill as he was for her ..But for some reason she kept her feelings for him close to her heart..I guess all those years of brushing him off and keeping him in the friends zone was kind of like "Foreplay" and what was to happen between them when she was ready to admit that he was the love of her life, her soul mate..Her Gil.

Yeah, it was deleted from the 3rd film, it was their wedding night. I wish they'd kept it though! Of all the deleted scenes, I think this one should def not have been deleted. It's just so romantic and beautiful... and so bittersweet. Perfect! Pity...

When I think about Jonathan's death it hits me in a lot of different ways.However, one really makes me appreciate life which is that I am only 3 months older than him..It also makes me understand how you can be here one minute and gone the next..RIP Jonathan you deserved to die as an old man warm in your bed (ok I stole that from Jack) not as a young man in the prime of his life ..It just proves how sometimes this life is not always fair to us..

I read the book when I was a kid and I really enjoyed it. I still have to watch the movies and read the rest of the books. Last weekend I watched two movies from 2016, and they were okay. The ones with Megan and Jonathan look a lot better. I've also watched the Netflix show and it's so good. I'm so sad it got canceled.

The scene on 3:55 - 3:56 was deleted from the movie. Anne Shirley was sick in bed with scarlet fever, that was in the hospital and Gilbert was by her side. Anne wanted to attend Marilla's funeral but Gilbert advised her not to, because she was very sick at that time.

Wow! I was dubious when I saw the song you had chosen. I love that song but didn't think it would work for Anne & Gil. Au contraire, it was perfect. This vid is an instant favourite with me and looked different from other vids with the unusual pacing and imaginative editing, Bravo! It was a journey from beginning to end and we're so lucky we can see A & G from childhood to adulthood.

I almost got to see him in "The Drowsy Chaperone."They had been in my hometown for a week (yes Jonathan Crombie our Gil )had been here in Greenville, SC for a week and I only found out the morning of their last performance..I tried to buy a ticket but it was "Sold Out" I even thought about becoming a back door stage groupie or finding out which hotel they were in and becoming a hotel lobby groupie but then I thought about it rationally and decided not to make a total fool out of myself..However,if I had known that he was going to cross over at such a young age(so glad that is not possible) I would have done whatever I could within reason to have met him and to get his autograph..I still hate that I lost the chance at meeting my first crush but knowing me I would have stuttered something weird right before I fainted ..Hey,I am talking about Jonathan Crombie the actor that knew what it took to bring Gilbert Blythe to life and was able to make countless teenage girls swoon with his dazzling smile and beautiful eyes...Yeah he sure was a "Hottie" and a talented actor that seemed content touring the country performing in his favorite Broadway plays

I saw the deleted scene when they were filming it too bad that it was cut from the movie..It starts with Megan backing into the frame and the Jonathan walks toward her..Then for some reason Megan asks if she can start over? because she didn't do something right or like the way she entered the frame..I was thinking it looked perfect but I take it she is a major type-A personality..
