Interview by Rich Fahle of Borders.
The amazing Anne Lamott's earthy wit and empathy make even the most lofty or heartbreaking subjects a joy to read. This is her third book of essays on faith, and while she's older than she was in Traveling Mercies, Grace (Eventually) is like listening to a dear friend who never preaches, but always makes you feel wiser. Recorded at Borders flagship store in Ann Arbor, MI in 2006.

I love Anne's bold truth-telling. She speaks in sparkling words the groanings that have been stuck deep in my own throat.

This woman is literally saving my life. I know that sounds dramatic. It is. It is also the truth. SO grateful.

We women put so much pressure on ourselves most likely due to our mothers insecurites. If we could only internalize how much God loves us just the way we are. Anne is so forthright and funny together. She has an amazing gift!

How could anyone possibly give Anne Lamott and this interview a "thumb's down??" For those 8 who did, I am glad there's grace... eventually.
