Anne Murray, Thank you for your beautiful songs. As a young teen I would plug in my headphones to my momma’s stereo, close my eyes and sing with you. I was instantly transported in my imagination to another place and time. Now I’m turning 60 next month and when I close my eyes, listen and sing (although not very well) along with you I am once more transported only this time I go back to that young, strawberry blonde, freckled face kid that sang your beautiful songs played on 45s on my momma’s stereo. Listening 17th of April 2024! So amazinly beautiful! Just arrived home after from a contemplation journey in Portugal. Never could I even imagine... I fell in love with him! Two countries, huge age differences. And are so in love, as I never been in love before. Been 56 around the sun, love my joy for life. Our first kiss was at midnight. For 40 years we wrote love notes and poems to each other. Flowers and gifts to each other for no special reason other than to say, "I love you,". We were each others lover, friend and confidant . We would defend and protect one another to the end. I would always say that God must have been thinking of me when HE created them.
