I've listened to this every night since it was released. I do fall asleep sometimes but go back to the last bit I remember. I'm chapter 24 now. I really hope you will consider doing book 2 as well. I read all the books as a child and throughout my teens, and as an adult. The pages are falling out of my books! Have loved listening and experiencing book 1 again

Can u believe I'm a 45 y/o avid reader and I have never read this classic?! I lost both of my parents this year just 2.5 months apart and yesterday my dad has been gone for 3 months and the 30th of this month my mother will be gone 6 months. The way Anne describes grief absolutely sent me bawling my eyes out. The author put into words exactly how I've been feeling. There are many reasons this is a classic!

Thank you for this. One of the best Story series ever written, by a great, Canadian Author. I adore Jane Austen, but this was a welcomed change for my sleep issues. It also brought back memories of visiting Green Gables, and of the Musical of Anne, that my youngest son was in, MANY years ago. If you’ve ever heard the song: “We clearly requested a Boy” from that musical, it can bring a tear to your eye. Cheers.

I wish I read this book when I was a child or teenager, for some reason this wonderful story wasn’t published in the Soviet, I used to work as a librarian but I never heard name L. M. Montgomery. I enjoyed every second of listening, every word, I laughed and cried. Thank you!

Excellent reading, so good I don't want to fall asleep. I did puzzle, though, when she said about "Tie tee an" hair. Titian is pronounced Tish ee an". Finally had an aha moment when she mentioned the artist who painted redheads.
