I start crying when she speaks of her actual engagement with her FB audience...I've spoken to her 5 times with VERY specific questions and she was so precise with her answers I knew IMMEDIATELY it was her! That's what makes me cry...remembering how humbled and honored and appreciated I felt...WHAT A BLESSING SHE WILL AKEAYS BE ❤

I love how she really does talk to you on FB ! It is awesome that she cares what we think. When she is not posting she will let you know that her assistant is there to answer your questions! I like him as well . Her books are great as always! She is a really down to earth person !

I greatly admire Anne Rice. She has excelled in multiple genres. Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, Mummys, and even at least one ghost story. Not to mention she's great at historical fiction (Cry to Heaven and The Feast of All Saints are really good books) and she's written spiritual/religious type books. And, though I am not a fan of this, she's written some erotic fiction as well. What can't Anne Rice do?

As far as I am concerned, no matter what vampire series I read or watch, this woman embodies what it is to be a VAMPIRE in every sense of the word! I am so proud to be one of her favorite readers.

Anne Leaves by Michael H. Hanson ©2021 Anne Rice has left the world today, she’s shed her flesh to go astray and wander across all her dreams where wolf, and witch, and vampire play. Perhaps she flies with grand Lestat searching for what he always sought in moonlit skies of New Orleans like some bloodthirsty astronaut. Maybe she strides across Egypt, now hand in hand in Ramses’ grip walking across raw ancient sands, embracing immortal courtship. Perchance she fights with mojo dark in psychic duels in Armstrong Park with Taltos giants by her side battling Talamasca’s hierarch. She never craved Armand’s dark gift nor Pharoah’s elixir’s bright tryst, rejecting harsh orthodoxy, embracing god’s forgiving kiss uniting with Michele and Chris. Tears fall like rain in New Orleans, La Jolla holds its heart and grieves and all across Rancho Mirage the wild birds cry on feathered sleeves. RIP Anne Rice (Born Howard Allen Frances O’Brien) 1941 - 2021

I wish I would’ve known about the page and her responsiveness and I wish I would’ve known about her open house in New Orleans. I really missed out. I hope she lives on and he’s having a fabulous time and if Lestat exists on his own in any way I wonder if he could be channeled through another writer; we would know if it was him or not.

I had almost forgotten about Anne but I heard this song called Penny Lane. LeStat is a successful writer and likes Beatles songs. Louis lives a quiet life in MS near family/friends not far from New Orleans.

Nope, everyone knows there are trolls plain and simple...lol...and just like YELP there are "nobody's" who really believe they can sink a business with their eloquent ripping on a place. But the saving grace is when someone reads a critical YELP post, one can't help but think instantly ,"Well they are either telling the truth or a big fat liar"....lol. The ones that make their decision based on an online review of a "nobody" are even more sad. I really enjoyed it when she said "Oh no...they can't affect me...but it's the new authors that they may be able to effect" LOL....she hit it beautifully.

Loved her books as a teenager. Was inspired when she started writing about God and followed her on that journey. Then she went back to writing about....werewolves, vampires, and such. Personally disappointing and confusing that she would return to such material but it's her journey not mine
