Ah Now Voyager! - such romantic epics are a lost art in these cold cynical times. ''Why ask for the moon when we can have the stars'' - I'm sure that iconic line will live on in the annals of cinema. As one would expect Anne Shelton sings the theme beautifully.

This simple song, as sung by Anne Shelton, sends shivers up and down my spine. I feel so grateful to all to hear this recording.

Thanks so glad you liked it. The Dot squires version was in 1977 35 years later ans a completely different style of singing but I thought the 2 deserve posting.

Nice. If anyone has the Billy Eckstine version of this song, would they please post it? The first (and last) time I heard Billy sing it was when I was on R and R in Tokyo in 1954, and I have been looking for it ever since. Thank You.

It's available on iTunes in 2 versions by Billy Eckstine: his 1953 version ("No One But You" album), and another undated version ("Jazz 'Round Midnight" album).
