Love the huge bowl on Laney's porch! Personally, I think with a little creativity it could look fine even in a small house (like a dining room) since so big, just treat it like a piece of furniture.

Hi Anne how funny is this I popped over here earlier to get some ideas for prim style gardens and porches and here's this! Lainey's home is so welcoming and beautiful. There's a good bit of thought put into each part of her home. I love her "tavern". The chairs suit it very well and you're so right Anne. The moulding forms it all and is lovely. How interesting to learn you can crumble black eyed Susans and when dry, plant them. I do love Lainey. I love all you ladies! ❤

Anne, you also inspired me to create a tavern look in my entry hall with 2 ladder-back chairs I found at a 2nd hand store & a lovely tavern table I already had. I have quite a few videos of Lainey home tours and we do a LIVE at her store every season which is so much fun. Lainey and Alice get so funny and Lainey gets punchy as the night goes on. My sister-in-law has a large dough bowl that she bought more than 20 years ago…I believe it’s authentic. She put on the top of a large cupboard and rolled old quilts in it. Just gorgeous. Thanks for the tour. 🥰🙏❤️

I was happy to see Laney had her tulips in a crock decorating her home. This spring i found some real looking tulips at a hallmark store & i have them inside a green / cream colored enamel antique coffee pot. Recently while adding more flags etc to my summer decorating - i thought should i pack away the tulips & decided no. :)

I personally think $700 was a steel for such a large tree planted and the privacy they will provide..we just had planted a Chinese Pistache, 6ft stick of a tree, a few branches and leaves and a water line ran to it, $500 and we fainted too. Actually, it turns out that the former owners painted it. They had a can in the basement but gave it to someone else so I think we will never know the color. :(

👋🏻 Watching again 😊 I watch videos over and over. Just a comment about my journey. I 've been collecting prim for about a year. Before sll about Victorian, Before that Shabby. So trying to integrate. I have 2 realizations, you have to have a lot more furniture to have somewhere to put things ! Next, I am trying to wrap my head around putting kitchen items in other rooms. Say butter presses. Like I said, it's a journey !!

It has a lovely design on the the press. How cn I tell if it's actually old ? Is the word treen ? That's what it looks like to me. Excited for next weeks visit !!

Hi Laurie. Treen is molded of wood. I don’t know if a butter press can be called treen. These are questions for Alice. We’ve taken a good look at Alice’s collection in the past.
