I saw Marko last spring here in Finland,on a tour playing his solo stuff and some cover songs.After the show he came on the merchandice desk to write autographs and for a little chat with fans.He felt very relaxed and he answered peacefully my questions.He said he really had to do the hard decision,he had to leave everything behind,to get himself together. And,here he is,with his bandmate Tuomas Wäinölä and the fantastic Anneke,doing The Islander!Just woow!!

As a huge fan of Nightwish (since I was a teenager), I also would like to see his return to the band. But see how at the same time he is big and talented enough to move forward...

He's certainly feeling much better,otherwise I couldn't see why he's on tour again.But,what's different,now he likes to do it with much smaller production,still with professional talented musicians.

Nice Marko is taking advantage of performing in other locations than Finland. I believe his wife is from south america so he can combine a nice holiday and spread some musical joy at the same time. Anneke was a great choice to accompany them - great voice, along with the other fellow whom I do not know.

Watch Greatest Show on Earth Tampere, afterwards seeing Marko walking out the front ramp with arms stretched out, you know that was such a moment for him. How can he relive that? A reunion in 2025 when he is mentally rested and Floor has raised her second child. We can hope.. Marko is irreplaceable.
