Anneke van Giersbergen - Woman in Love (Barbra Streisand)

Dutch TV show "De Wereld Draait Door" asked me to perform one of my guilty pleasures.
Before my older brother introduced me to heavy metal music, I was a huge Barbra Streisand fan (mind you that I still LOVE her voice).
I played a snippet from "Woman in Love" during the show (goo.gl/UXve0J), but the response has been overwhelming!! So I've decided to record the whole song for you to enjoy!

There are many great singers in this world who deserve all the recognition and applause. But there is no singer in this world like Anneke with such beauty of voice; her melodies go deep with within you and contain more hooks than a tackle box. Her Barbara Streisand cover was just profoundly beautiful. I always knew Anneke loved Streisand even before she admitted it. You don't get as good as Anneke by listening to metal music alone. Looking forward to the new Vuur album.
