This still tears me up almost 16 years. G&G were one of the best if not the best pairs team there ever was, and Sergei was way too young to die :( She was only 24 and widowed, it's so sad! G&G should still be together, winning the hearts or audiences with their perfect skating. RIP, Sergei. We miss you

When I see Katia hug Sergei’s mom it gets me everytime. Poor woman lost her husband and son only four years apart. She died in 2000.
