The song Can't Get You Out Of My Head is a cover. It was recorded by famous Australian singer Kylie Minoque and became a hit song.

Love your smile when you are listening to Henning's voice. 😊I hope Kylie has heard this cover of her song, too, I think she'd like it! Funny you say "Doppelgänger" in English as well? 😊And of course I remember George Harrison 😊Love from Germany ❤

English borrows words from many languages. Doppelgänger is one of them Schadenfreude is another that we borrowed from German.

Thank you, once again, for reacting to my favorite band at the moment. Happy to see you visibly enjoying their music. They never let you down, do they. I know they had their viral moment with the famous cover of "Tom's Diner", but I feel this is a far better cover. The mixture of their vocals and the harmonizing is just a chef's kiss. I still remember the day this song popped into my KZbin recommended feed, and I am forever grateful I decided to click that. (January 26th 2024). ❤Henning ❤

You're right: in principle it's the same as with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. However, with CSNY it's clear that it's just a string of surnames. Of course, this also applies to Annen, May and Kantereit, but the three names merge much more into a single word - and is also written as such: AnnenMayKantereit. And this unique new, beautifully, provocatively and mysteriously sounding word means a unique and single thing: the band. Therefore there is no need to change the band name, even when it changes members like the various bass players during its history.

That's exactly what I was thinking: There's young George Harrison in the band! Doesn't the guy look exactly like him? He does!
@BonFire712 күн бұрын
George Harrison is actually Jules Crommelin 😄 He's the guitarist of this former Australian band 'Parcels' that moved to Berlin, Germany.

What do you mean by ‘former’? Have Parcels broken up?

As a German I wanna say thank you for your service. I know there's always some sketchy stuff going on with any military. But without the US army I wouldn't have my best friend, who got send over to Germany to study by her parents that survived the Vietnam war (even after the US loss, you still made an impact) and us Germans wouldn't have gotten our arses kicked when it was insanely important to do so in the World Wars. I'm not trying to downplay any loss during those wars and the war crimes some people have committed on either side, but you get my drift. Sincerely, thank you for your service.
