Nice natural look. I used to use my fingers years ago to apply the makeup. Maybe I will go back to that again.

I kind of prefer using my fingers for foundation. It’s what I have been doing for years. I also have the same mirror that you have in your hand. It’s a nice size and has that super magnification that allows you to see every single pore or hair on your face. Who doesn’t want to see that up close? 😅😵💫
@MakeupForMatureSkin6 ай бұрын
Honestly I hate seeing everything that close. But if I didn't things wouldn't be blended well. So many times I've thought I looked great then I'll pull out my mirror with a slap of reality 😅

Hi Anne, it’s taken me all day to finally finish watching your video today as I had no power and no internet connection blah blah blah, my neighbour ran over the power box Lol 😂…. Anyway, you look beautiful 🤩 as always and I love that lip shade on you, I’m getting my lip liner tattooed permanently on my lips later this month and can’t wait, I’ve had it done before and saves so much time, I just had my brows tattooed and love them, I’ve had them done before also but the last time I had them done, I wasn’t happy with the outcome, so this cosmetic tattoo artist fixed them up for me, I don’t know about you but one of my brows has more hairs than the other Lol 😂, I’m a bit lop sided haha 😜. Hope you have a Great Week ahead. Cheers from Nellie xoxo 🩷🩷🫶🏻🫶🏻

Gorgeous look, Anne!!!…love it!!!!…question, are you still using the LED for your face, and the lip one?..,considering buying it?…is the Nira better???…love you, girlfriend!!!💜
@MakeupForMatureSkin6 ай бұрын
Yes using both, and the Nira and the ZIIP and I just purchased a few other gadgets that I'll be testing soon. They're all different it depends on what you need. You don't need them all. I am very high maintenance so I do use them all. If you want to soften lines, firmness then I'd recommend the Nira. If you want an overall change in your skin, build collagen, lift and tone then microcurrent is it. The ZIIP is different than the Clareblend mini because it also has Nano current. BUT you can still get what you need using your Clareblend mini.I hope that helps ❤️❤️

I totally agree with you regarding the shiny lips! It really does make a great difference. Your eye shadow looks stunning btw. I can’t find a eyeshadow primer that actually works for me. What the heck. Can you name ones you’ve used and liked? My shadow just fades away. Annoying. 🙄 Thx Annie

@@MakeupForMatureSkinAnne is this bronzer different to the Buriti Bronzer by RMS…if it’s different to that one, nothing has been mentioned here about a new bronzer launch but that’s not unusual, we’re always late getting new releases down under..🙁🙁🩷🩷

I have been using fingers. I have to really dab and press. Turning 63. Yeah. Putting makeup on has changes. I use a blender to pick up extra I can’t buff or swirl. Dry skin it aggravates the skin. It’s al good tho. AND FOR MY EYES THR GIVENCHY PRISM LIBRE IS CHEFS KISS EVEN COVERING MY PORES. I LOVE IT !! I use a puff to press it in. Ha. Different strokes right ? My new fav liner is 2 STONE from PERSONA. AND LIONFISH STILLA

This was a realy good video, Anne. All the explanations are super. I have a question. You use a lot of RMS. The Sicely bronzer is too pricey for me. What is your opinion of the RMS cream bronzer? It looks so natural on Rose Marie's ads.
@MakeupForMatureSkin6 ай бұрын
They have a new bronzer that's being released today on the site and I haven't purchased it but plan to But the Burti bronzer is different than most. It gives a more natural I've been to the beach look. It has a tad more red than most bronzer so it depends on what you're looking for. Hope that helps.

Very good video. Unfortunately for me lipstick even with lipliner and filling in my lips wears off in 20 min. I could wear a long wear lipstick and my skin just drinks it up. I watch other women on here and they will claim their lipstick stayed on through coffee, then eating lunch. I am always like no way in hell would that be me. I even put lip masks on at night and by the time I walk out of the bathroom from doing my nightly skincare routine to the bed it's all gone. I just have super dry lips no matter what I do. If you have any tips for lipstick staying on longer than 20 min. I would appreciate any tips.
@MakeupForMatureSkin6 ай бұрын
I wonder if it's the lipliners you're using because they're not all the same. I prefer a matte lipliner. Charlotte Tilbury IMO is better than Chanel for me. It's matte and stays on longer. Also make sure all your foundation is off your lips before applying. Then apply your lipliner, then Blot. Apply your lipstick then Blot again. You can add another swip of lipstick if you want to but blot on a tissue again. You can add a touch of gloss so your lips so they don't feel dry but not too much. Another tip is to apply it as I shared above but instead of using your lipstick bullet to apply your lipstick use a lip brush. Makeup artists do this so it lasts longer as well.Let me know how that works.
@BlingyBea6 ай бұрын
I have the same problem, I use the CT lipliner or Lisa Eldridge which don’t rub off easily. I’ve done it all even setting it with a powder over a tissue, nope, I’ll try a lip brush. I can’t wear matte lipsticks, I know they are suppose to last longer but it won’t stick to the inner part of my lips, getting older sucks., never had that problem. The only one that lasts on me is the liquid Chanel but it’s so pricey, I can’t use it everyday.😢
