No one ever explained to us why these pasty-faced, unathletic young people were alongside all those tanned extras who looked like they just might have gone to the beach once in a while. Oh, youth! WITH it she would have been blessed to go to her reward two decades prior. Kind of the sad, similar hope for Alzheimer's sufferers. Kudos to her loving, supportive second husband. On an infinitely happier note, the anecdote of how she and Shelley Fabares met as girls, to become lifelong close friends -- meeting in Catechism class -- was sweet and interesting.
