Simply I adore it. Even if I'm in favor of Stefan being with her but it feels right with Damon. Feels smooth, simple & perfect that she is with him. Dunno why but he's just the right one for her. He always protects her, wants to be sure she's fine & happy. Kinda as if Elena makes him selfless. As if what he cares about is just her & am sure his love for her is extraordinary. Her life, safety & happiness come before his. He just wishes to see her smile all the time & her tears go away.

Beautiful and its so true. They find themselves when they are together. Damon brings out this warrior in Elena when the whole world feels like its crashing down around her and Elena brings out a softness in Damon when for so long he has shut that part of himself off. These parts of always been inside of them but, they shine when they come together. They find themselves when finding each other. Simply beautiful. Thumbs up and favorited.
