This is a very difficult question because both instruments have their own unique tones. And I like them both. But if you are new to the flute, I would recommend the TooT. You know very well that the fife is difficult to play.😁

@@YayoiFLUTE yes, but i'm thinking if you're an accomplished player, which of these instruments gives a sweeter sound? (without the beginner mouthpiece). The fingering for TOOT is similar to German recorder right?

@@calvinchong8740 For me, the Fife is more controllable as a tool for expression. Maybe I think so because I don't practice so much on the TooT. You are right, the fingering is similar to the German recorder.

Якщо так, і ваша мета - грати на флейті, то ви повинні грати на флейті, а Novo toot не рекомендується. Якщо ви хочете грати на флейті, але не впевнені, тоді, я думаю, Novo TooT буде для вас гарним досвідом.

how to turn a flute into an ocarina🐛🦋 i read this instrument Is for children : so it's good for me 👶 It's not very expensive. I think I'll buy It (do you think Is It easy to play with Lip plate ?) Annie Laurie Is beautiful : thanks for letting me know .

It is very easy to play with attachments like the one in the second half of the video. I recommend it. Once you get used to it enough with the attachment, I think you will be fine with the lip plate. The Toot lip plate is easier to play than the Fife.☺

@@YayoiFLUTE i'm sure of this 😢 But i've just seen a video about the Nuvo DooD and i love It too for its Sax/clarinet imitation (but Reading the caractetistics notes DooD has just One octave of extension, and this Is not good)

Нуво Тоот у меня есть, я флейтистка, ох, ну неужели Вы не слышите как она фальшивит, до второй октавы самая фальшивая нота, играю на Avlos, как у Вас, а Нуво ни кому не рекомендую, инструменты ни о чем !
