They were friends at the beginning, but then all the female titan arc came and they became “enemies” (Mikasa felt betrayed, and Annie always showed regret when killing comrades so I don’t think she had something against them in that battle). At the end you can see that both leave all that in the past and have a normal friendship (mostly because they are empathetic between them because of their loved ones lol). And couldn’t blame her for falling for Armin, he literally preferred to “talk” with her than being outside with some other girls.

Reiner also got his but it was sort lived. a kid wanting to be a hero only to later realize that he is not and his actions came back biting him in the ass when Eren attacked the theater and Armin blew the coast town to oblivion.
