Jonathan plays such a great character of Yeshua. Helps that he has a personal relationship with the Savior of the world. Thank you, Johnathon, for taking the part of Jesus so seriously. It helps the lost know what Jesus did for them. He truly truly loves us unconditionally. And what Yeshua went through, how He dealt with His emotions while here on earth. Yeshua always looked to The Father even when He was sweating blood. He said; Father if it is possible, could you take this cup from me?" And then, but not My will be done, Your Will be done. He went through such abuse and never once complained about the hell He went through. I thank you so much, Yeshua, for dying for us. Thank you, Johnathon, for taking this part to your heart. And to the rest of the actor's and actresses, bravo 👏 🙌 Well done. ❤❤❤

I really need to comment on the Chosen. I have been watching the Chosen for years. I have told everyone I know that shares my love for the Chosen that they are all great actors, especially Johnathan. When I watch an interview with Johnathan I do NOT see Jesus, and when watching the Chosen I do Not see Johnathan. He does a great job of keeping them separate. ♥️🙏

I often hear people saying they’re not sure if Christ knew what was going to happen in the sense of was He looking to the cross at all times I think Revelation 13:18 answers: And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. He knew before the foundation of the world. He was fully present yet fully aware of what He needed to do. ❤

How many seasons have been broadcast? I watched 1-8,but don’t know where to find what follows.I enhale the Chosen. Portrayals are respectful, nothing sleazy or playing down Christs importance in our creation and the lives we live. This is my favorite program, people are starving for good programs as people were not how all the mumble jumble mix up of gender confusion. All those who protray the people in the Scriptires are so believable, my heart is endeared to Matthew.

With God, knowing with everyone of us would be born, and that’s all the way through before the rapture itself, God knew every one of us, so wouldn’t that make Jesus knowing everything like God does

Love the show just a minor criticism is the point my fellow egyptian made about jesus possible not knowing everything from the beginning I would be pressed to say that as we know Jesus is fully God and fully man that includes divine knowledge

Johnathan ( I can't see phone well I spelled your name wrong) you have played the role of Jesus so well, I never thot about his human relationships b4 you showed them as he could have delt them. The Chosen does not replace the Bible it gives us a glimpse " what if Jesus showed so much humanity I think bc God wanted to feel the human existence.♥️

So one question I have to ask. Why did they put season 4 in the theaters? Was it for time needed to explain the end times or money or both!? I don't mean this in a bad way, but some are thinking why did you charge to see it in theaters!? But, Jonathon's job acting and Mathews and Lilith ( Mary) the the sick with lep, you couldn't get any better than all the actors chosen in this show.

I feel The Chosen adequately made the point about God or Jesus NOT always healing or answering our prayers and requests with the story of Eden struggling with the loss of her baby. Or, Little James not understanding why Jesus would not heal him. It is important to realize and accept that God is sovereign. I think this point was made and to use the death of Ramah has created a distraction from everything else we saw in episodes 1-3--it has overshadowed things of greater importance that just blurred into the background, especially for the many non-believers who were watching not knowing fact from fiction. I think if Quintus HAD killed the dog instead of Ramah you could have used that to explain that Jesus does not raise dogs from the dead--but that would really have created a firestorm! I have been a staunch supporter of The Chosen, but I am disappointed over this deviation and will trust you a little less from this point on. I think what Jesus is portrayed to say, should be Scripturally accurate, what Jesus did or didn't say is different than any other character in the show where it is okay to use conjecture on what may have been said. But, then I still don't agree with the words you put in Jesus mouth in the Sanhedrin, "I AM THE LAW OF MOSES." When we left the theater that night my wife had tears in her eyes, because she is a sensitive person, I said to her, 'That was an emotional scene! But, keep in mind they just killed off an imaginary character that should never have been part of the narrative.' It brought her back to reality. You made the point that sometimes these things cause people to go back to Scripture, it does, but I worry about those who do not know enough Scripture to search it, like the Bereans. Several references were made in your livestream that the scene at the beginning of episode 3 where King David is praying for the life of his infant son was connected to the ending--again for the non-believer or new-believer that scene was somewhat abstract--it finally dawned on me the next day. I am not second guessing how you want to write The Chosen, well maybe a little, but I am telling you how I feel. I love The Chosen, but a little less than before. If it becomes more fiction than fact, I will give up on it. One last point, I just heard Dallas say there was never any thought that THIS ending was done for the sensation of it, but yet in the app video, he called it a "surprise" ending. Seems the intention all along was to have a BIG ending, please don't have any more big endings. Jesus criticized the Pharisees, "For they loved human praise more than the praise from God." I pray for the success of The Chosen, and for all of you who are working so hard to glorify God through this story. May God fill you with with His Holy Spirit again and again as you continue this work. Do not take what I or anyone else says as criticism, but rather love and concern for the same Jesus you are trying to glorify. I will continue to pray God renews your enthusiasm for The Chosen and that the message of the Gospel will spread to the world through your efforts.

Haven't watched this season yet as I have not been able to see it in the cinema so had been patiently waiting for season 4 to be streamed. Would have appreciated you at least putting a spoiler tag at the top of this comment because now you have effectively spoiled/ruined the surprise ending, so not too happy about that. Please remember that not everyone has had the opportunity to watch the episodes just yet🙏🏾
