Grande aigrette / Great Egret

Les Grandes aigrettes sont de magnifiques oiseaux que l'on voit très peu au Québec, mais que j'observe en grand nombre chaque fois que je vais en Floride. J’ai bien hâte d’avoir plus de temps pour être plus présente sur ma chaîne. La venue de notre premier petit fils qui sera là dès janvier, nous occupe alors que nous rénovons une maison pour accueillir la petite famille depuis notre retour de vacances. Bon week-end !
The Great Egrets are magnificent birds that we don’t see often in Quebec, but that I observe in large numbers every time I go to Florida. I can't wait to have more time to be more present on my channel. The arrival of our first grandson in January keeps us busy as we renovate a house to welcome the family, since we are back from vacation. Have a great weekend !

Yes, it’s a beautiful bird ! Birds in Florida are not fearful, we can be close to them. I think I've made a mistake in my description. Our grandson will be with us in a few weeks. We enjoyed Disney a last before his birth. We surely go back with him when he’ll be 5 or more. Birdwatching in Florida is always a pleasure, even if we don’t have a lot of time. Quel bel oiseau! Je ne les ai pas vu cette année sur le bord de la rivière. Comme je te disais, le niveau d'eau a été trop haut tout l'été et l'automne! Là, ils viennent d'abaisser le niveau à un endroit et ce sont les oies des neiges qui vont arriver! Cette belle aigrette ne semble pas peureuse. Elle doit être habituée d'être observée. Les oiseaux en Floride sont tellement plus facile à observer qu’ici, c’est tellement plaisant ! On a vu un regroupement d’oiseaux sur une rivière en roulant sur la 20 pour aller prendre l’avion, le niveau était bas, sûrement plus bas que chez toi. Merci beaucoup ! 😃
