How do you make sure you’re getting enough calcium when you leave out dairy? How many grams of protein do you try to get in a day? What do you think of Larabars? They’re unsweetened and are made from pure ingredients. Also how much sunlight do you like to get on a daily basis? It’s hard to find the balance between getting vitamin D and giving yourself wrinkles. Found your channel today and am loving it!

How do you make ginger tea at home? Grate the ginger then steep it in hot water?

You can grate it or just slice it up and make sure to let it sit for a good 10 minutes before you drink it so the water has really absorbed the ginger :) Really good with fresh lemon too!

Amy Di Bella, the easiest, yummiest way I've found to drink it is to put 2-3 heaped teaspoons of grated ginger in a coffee plunger!. let it steap in the boiling water for a while then push the plunger down and pour! it is addictive:)

Wow Annie you look incredible!!! Really enjoyed this video...I get really baffled with food and trying to cure my acne since it came about from transitioning to a plant based lifestyle..like for example I have read that tomatoes can be a big no-no for people prone to acne and people suffering from cystic acne from them...whereas others will say tomatoes are brilliant for acne. The contradictory viewpoints stress me out so much LOL. I just wish I could eat without worry that certain things are making me break out xx

Hi Annie! Thank you for a very informative video! I'm very iron deficient so I have to supplement with iron. I was wondering if that is okay? I don't eat red meat that much so I have to supplement. I was vegan for a year but I had many near syncope episodes during that time so I had to stop eating vegan only.

I am confused. Annie you say that pre packed juices are boiled before they reach the supermarket shelves and that kills off "everything" as you put it. So what would be the point of drinking lemon water hot? Wouldn't that also kill off what you want to preserve as well, by pouring hot water over the lemon?

Hannah Luc try coconut, almond, or soy yogurt but btw dairy actually depletes your body of calcium! You have a higher rate of osteoporosis and bone density depletion when you eat dairy

Yes! I love making my own fresh juice - so much better than store bought. I bought an Omega juicer last year to recreate some of my favorite juices I tried from an Italian cafe while on vacation in Florence. One is fresh orange juice with ginger, kiwi, and carrot. The other is grapefruit with pineapple and fennel. So good! I know you say no supplements, but I have a vitamin D deficiency and I live in Indiana, I got outside every day for 20 minutes all summer last year but i'm still very deficient, so I've been taking a D3 supplements. I can't move right now to somewhere that will give me any more vitamin D, so what do you and your nutritionist friend suggest? I have a lot of bad symtoms from this. :( I've done everything I can think of, I don't exfoliate so the vitamin D doesn't go down the drain, I put olive oil on my skin before I go out because I read that helps with absorption, and I eat mushrooms every day lol. I don't know what to do, help?!
