How interesting! How sad. Annie, a true "master" with more experiences than most will ever have, has fewer viewers and subscribers than many of the gear reviewers. The concept and light matters - the cameras and lenses don't. Thank you for your career, Annie.

I just came across this channel today and I've been intensively watching photography YT videos for 6 years. Must be something to do with KZbin's "recommendation algorithm".

This is so hard to watch. It’s like it was filmed in 30fps and then edited to show slow motion. ? Maybe just keep it at 24 or 30fps or film it in 60fps and then edit for the slow motion. The voice over and story by Annie is great. Then, we don’t even get to see the final image. ? I’m excited about this content. I hope it gets better.

I agree with all you said. Especially seeing a few images is to me essential to keep it interesting. It doesn't have to be the final image, i can see if they have issues posting it if they sell it, I'm no lawyer so I'm just guessing.

This is definitely not her best work, not even close. So she makes her subject carry a couple of her favorite peaches and got a few people fussing around her and this is a "tough shoot" for her. She's being honest though.
@derricbert13667 ай бұрын
If you know anything about photography (which doesn't appear to be the case), you'd know that the sun casts harsh, unflattering shadows in pictures. The possibility of that occurring was what made the shoot tough.
@hopeallwell72287 ай бұрын
@@derricbert1366 OK. It's a "tough" shoot because she likes and prefers soft lighting. She got her subject in the bush in the shade and has two mobile light stands aka her assistants carrying a scrim and some octabox to soften the light. Harsh light doesn't necessarily make bad pictures but it's her prerogative to prefer and use soft light on her subject. I think the result is just ... meh, that's all.
