*Excellent Color Selections/Choices.* Was waiting on this, key point - "no sealer needed" That has been the Q. Can I have one questions? I repainted almost all my furniture in your country grey, french linen, chateu grey, louise blue, duck egg additionally vases/ flower pots are in old violet. Do you think that the New plum colour would go well on one accent wall in each room? The other walls are in light beige. In general I am trying to achieve the french provincial style. Almost all pieces of furniture are second hand, old, up-cycled. With soul and history. I love your book Creating the French Look🌷. Beautiful and inspiring. I am becoming a maximalist, too😉. Congratulations on your wall paint! Yes there can be too much of a good thing. I learned this the hard way, that sometimes a calmer backdrop is better & less color can be more. I too a fearless lover of color with an art background & had painted my walls neon yellow, it wasn't right. 'Repainted' them bright leaf green nearly neon, dining room tomato red, bathroom & foyer purple. It was all too much! I realized too late that I wasn't able to accessorize with much color because of the overly bright walls. Together it had all appeared rather juvenile. I had to choose one or the other. So again we repainted living room, dining room, kitchen & foyer but this time a soft pale gray, nearly white. We LOVE it! Our brightly colored psychedelic mid century modern carpet pops out in a great way so do our accessories & furniture! By the way Your earrings are perfect for you being that 'hands' are part of your logo!

EXACTLY!!! Good eye with the earrings spot. That's why I wear them, I'm obsessed with hands. These are also a tribute to Frida Kahlo who had a pair of hand earrings gifted to her by Picasso. You must try a darker grey such as French Linen or even Graphite in one area, perhaps just on one wall as that will make the colours shine even more. xx

Frida's art is absolutely amazing, the fact that she had made most of it with a mirror hanging above her while she lay flat on her back in bed during a spine injury just blows my mind! Thankyou for the idea of adding an accent wall, I have the perfect spot to add one to a foyer wall at the entrance of my home. I'm very much looking forward to using your new wall paint soon & I know it will be wonderful just like the rest of your products are!

Annie, I am a fan as well, when I ordered some of your paints I was so pleased to see that you found inspiration in "Charleston" (Bloomsbury house and garden), I bought that book years ago, and I relate very strongly to the decor and to the remarkable life of Vanessa Bell and her sister Virginia Woolf. I cannot get enough of that inspiration and I am taking the time to create my own "Charleston" here in Santa Barbara County in my tiny cottage where I live with cat and dog. I look forward to using your wall paint, and by the way, I love that you make many of your videos in bare feet! Hi Annie, I would love nothing more than to visit Charleston in person; I do not know why I feel such a pull toward it; my sister sadly had mental health issues and took her own life, just like Virginia. She could not fix them or feel better. We were very close, and I will miss her always just as Vanessa did. On a more positive note, I have decorated my walls and doors and my fireplace mantel, I used your paint. It is so fun. @@AnnieSloanHome I am also curious about this point, so I went to the site but it isn't clear. It did indicate that the Chalk Paint is recommended for certain older homes needing a breathable paint. Thus, ... Question: if I apply the Chalk Paint to a wall, (rather than the AS Wall Paint), do I need to use a sealer? That's the point I need to know. Thanks, Beth Bartlett Tennessee, USA

Hi Marina! Don't be confused. That was the beginning of this journey. We've been testing and trialling Wall Paint for years in a small range of colours so that we could get everything perfect. Thank you for being an early adopter! This is a refined version of that formula in some of the same colours, some new based on customer feedback and my own experimentation.

Hello there! When painting melamine, it's a good idea to lightly sand the surface, but there is no need to use a primer.

Hello Morgana! Chalk Paint can be used on walls, but will need to be sealed if they're in high used areas. Have you seen Annie Sloan Wall Paint? It is beautiful and scrubbable! Schinkel Green is the most vivid green on the palette.
