Thanks for the inspiration! Out of curiosity, roughly how much DPS have you been able to test out of this build? I know this is solo-PvE oriented and trades some damage for independence/survivability, so obviously it's not intended to be a 100K+ trial damage thing, but I'm just wondering.

Honesty no BS answer, just over 75k on a trial dummy without changing a thing.

Am I missing something? Velothi decreases light attacks by 99%, massively decreasing the damage potential gained through weaving. Though I haven't played in a while, does it even matter anymore? :D

The 15% damage to all other sources, outweighs the damage your light attacks do. Still worth doing if you can, small but free damage, ulti gen and enchantment procs.

i havenbt played in over 8 months and whenver i come back to the game, ppl come up with new gear sets for the stamblade. nothing int his video is worth it if you already have the nirn set. and the 15% from the amulet isnt worth it if you favor speed, just get the ring that gives you speed instead (wild hunt). and if you lack survivability you have a ton of sets that compliment the nirn set. if you need even more damage, just go for aegis caller. if you lack self heal, just use pale order ring. literally none of the sets in this build trumps the previous better sets from a year ago or even older. so for everyone starting out, get two crafted sets, then farm some normal dungeons or maybe vet dungeons if you have upgraded sets and somewhat higher CP. then go for any of the old favorites. if you really struggle with survivability, i suggest Hexos' Ward, definitely worth it. hexos ward + nirn and i can easily solo overworld bosses. and if i run into one that really deals some damage, i slap on the ring of pale order and im golden. for dungeons i still swap to velothi, but sometimes im lazy and use an oaken soul build. and for normal modes i still run ring of the wild hunt. with everything else its easy to still top the dps meters with casual groups and even in some vet random dungeon i still use that ring for fun. the 15% velothi gives is really only necessary for the high end stuff. and if youre a complete newbie: use stamina or magicka regen buff food. its what keeps you attacking without running out of resources. once youre better set up you can switch the food.

It’s not about being better it’s about being different. The build isn’t about being the best, it’s about fun. Putting something on and not having to swap it out depending on the content. There’s always going to be a “better” option depending on what you’re doing. Your saying to a build that focuses on fun, that your better of not getting the gear because 1 old set is better, (it’s not) but instead giving 5x options……. Ummm that’s more gear, more effort, and then you have to stop at the beginning of a dungeon to equip gear, or an arena and put on pale order and that’s just 2 out of the 5 While your suggestions aren’t bad ones, they are just directed at the wrong content. This is about fun, set and forget and perform well. Thanks for the watch though. 🙏

It’s a great question, I think IF I had to pick 2 right of the bat I’d go with, Order’s Wrath, and Hundings Rage, Though keep in mind. The build really comes together with the right sets, so you won’t see the same results until you have the gear. I hope you can find the pieces your after!

Firstly, Welcome! I can for sure work. ESO is unique in anything can work with anything. There will always be "something better" but find something you like and go from there.

Hey there! Thanks so much! It is very fun! Umm and alternative can be tricky, but you could try briarheart/rele. That would be very single target though. I think maybe whorl/briar would probs be the best option. You could also do whorl/gourmands, or whorl/orders wrath. Sorry it’s tricky lol. If your doing whorl just make sure to get the jewels and the front bar bow it’s it as you’ll want as much med on the body possible. Whorl will have decent aoe damage though. Honestly highland sentinel I think it’s called the new crafted set is amazing! You’ll just be missing some aoe but it should do really well. Other alternatives could be pillar of nirn, if you were daggers on the front aegis caller would be amazing. There’s really a lot of things you can try!

Hey there! For sure, I’ve thought about this a lot actually. I’d put Null Arca on the body and front bar the Aegis Caller set, then switch out the snipe spam for flurry. That’s pretty much it. I think it would hit really hard

Hey there, I mean you COULD run Order's Wrath as a place holder, nice easy craftable set. BUT I'd really work on getting in there when and if you can. I fully understand some groups suck in trials though.

@@XandrOriginal I’d highly suggest keeping an eye on the group finder, there’s usually a few Lucent Citadels going, or you could try making one yourself in there.

That’s the merciless bow skill. Having it on your bar will make your weapons glow :)

Those are great options, for sure. If you have access to trial gear rele or depths could be great aswell. If you have access to it but not trial gear, pills of burn is a great one. Hope this helps

My guess is it will still be fine in PvE. The 1.3 second delay that's coming really isn't going to be noticed by PvE mobs. It will still be pretty explosive I reckon. I am keeping an eye on these notes closely over the next couple weeks! (Copy pasted from someone else's same question) :)

You can buy bag space, and the other free way is to make alts and use them as storage, you could also make a guild for free bank space. There are also storage coffers in game you can buy with writ vouchers. There are a few options out there

I sick and tired of all these people coming up with builds and everything is gear that you get from trials, not many people actually do trials, how come no one makes a build with gear that is from overland and normal dungeon sets.

Hey there, I understand your fustration, and it’s kind of my thing. I actually make No Mythic/No Trial gear builds. Have a look through the channel, you find something you like. To answer your question though it’s minor slayer. Every trial set has a minor buff for the 3rd piece. On dps sets this is minor slayer. This does a flat 5% damage increase to all dungeon, trial, and arena bosses, so outside of the fact that all trial sets are by far the highest damage, that stat line alone is why we as players target them. As I said though I’ve got a lot of other builds on the channel and website that has no mythics or trial gear and if some are a bit outdated just let me know and ask some questions. Remember these are always guides, you can mix and match things till your hearts content. Try things out and have fun, it’s what it’s all about. 🙂

That’s a pretty solid reason. Alternative: move shoulder piece to the neck where velothi would have been and then use a monster set. I suggest, stormfist or selenes I think strongest would work better with range. 🙂

@@RyanIsIffy I was thinking use 2 separate monster sets with good 1 piece bonuses. 1 for crit and 1 for either damage or pen. I still gotta farm the trial for the rest of the gear before i can test it. I love the tarnished nightmare set on paper and already framed it but haven't used it yet. might try pairing it with pillar of nirn until i get the trial gear. OR depending on what my crit rate is maybe try it with macabre vintage and 2 monster pieces that increase crit if needed.

The poison damage is a Focus Script so you can target farm it by doing Daily Delve quests, Mages Guild Dailies, and Rewards of the Worthy.
