I really loved your film. What I liked the most is your treatment to the subject of the film. Most Indian mainstream bollywood film will make a sobby melodramatic crap out of this subject. But not only did you made this film a really interesting & an intense one but you nailed it within 20 minutes. Hats off to you Bahaish. I would love to see all of your other works. Great job.

I'm guessing the thought of him cheating was the straw that broke the camel's back. *sigh* It's not that this is a bad film, it's just that I'm irritated af by it. She tolerates his bullshit because she's desperate to save their relationship, even going to the extent of removing his *jacket* and *shoes* whenever he passes out drunk; her friend notices this bullshit, and the best way she can think of helping her friend, is to *suggest to her husband that he buy the perfume she complimented her for one time*, as an obvious diversion from her bruise. What, the fuck? *That is not how you friend.* And the husband! He didn't deserve to be murdered, but he was still a shit.

So he wasn't cheating? What was the point of killing him then? Was it for no reason, did she make a mistake? I didn't really see him beat her, just accidentally push her against the wall. That was unacceptable, yes, without caring to look and see if she was okay, but those issues could have been solved! Yes, marriage counseling WAS needed! It could have helped! The husband was a drunk, yes, but he could have been helped! If anything, I think the wife said "that's not what we need" because deep down, she knew she was a murderer, or capable of killing, she was on edge, and had NO patience. How long were they married for, anyway? I'm probably overthinking this and being really rude, and I'm really sorry, I don't want to be mean, I just have a little difficulty understanding the film. I agree the cinematography was very impressive and was a big part of telling the story, but can someone please explain the lesson/meaning of the film? (P.S. this reminds me of Lamb to the Slaughter a bit, anyone else?)

bunny pumpkin14111 He did physically abuse her. To the point where her tooth tell out and when she's getting ready , she hides bruises on her arm with make up. The message was that , in my opinion , the guy pushed her to the point where she expected only the worst from him. She's in a mental state where she's in denial about her situation and so doesn't seeks out help. Murder wasn't justified but that's the thing. She wasn't in her right mind. She loved her husband too much and it drove her to insanity seeing him tear apart everything they had.

When? Well, that's when ( Indian) women start respecting and loving themselves and realize what their worth is. When you respect and love yourself, you will realize that you deserve better. Men (or people in general) only treat you, the way you allow them to treat you.

problem with these people is they are trying to find their happiness from one person and have no other life except one 'so called friend' to talk to. life is happy when you have a whole family. then your relationship with your spouse develops over a period of time, and not always focuses on it, like in these nuclear families. if in your life you take responsibility for others, say in-laws, your own parents, your neighbours, life works fine, for it gives you purpose. and before you know, you have acquired wisdom of living, letting go, holding on to, and crying and laughing, all in a different situation...or understanding how these things work. but if you keep thinking someone is going to make you happy and will have nothing better to do but only be around you like in the movies....then you are in big trouble and hence these pointless movies.
@AAA-tx8gb
@AAA-tx8gb 7 жыл бұрын
to a certain extent you are right, but this focus on self, and not understanding that we are a part of a community, or we are linked to many and the joy of life lies in taking care of other,s, not always thinking of being taken care of....when they understand that, things will change around them. also, sometimes you keep attracting the same kind of people in your life, because deep down, you are that way, in that case changing your self, having patience with yourself and other will take you a long way.

Just hope these drastic measures are realized as entertainment, and not done - Movies do have a strong effect on the public - Abusive husbands, careful about your gift selection & Beware of a Woman scorned - Heeee Hawwww - just kidding!? Didn't see that coming - Well Done!!
