Anno 1800 beauty build

Would you want to live there too?
I created my biggest City in Anno, EVER!
I went for realism and beatuy, that's why factorys/ industry and farms are placed near the city.
This is not a max inhabitans build!
No mods where used
created with all expansions
Hundrets of workhours, I'm not sure maybe Kap Trelawney/ Crown Falls took me 200-300h of total work for a full functional economy system!

I have been suffering from some pretty bad Crown Falls Syndrome (just starting over and over again because I keep messing with the layout) but seeing that we share some ideas of where to put the essentials like Oil Harbour, Monuments, and key infrastructure is super encouraging! All the way down to how you put the Museum and Botanical Gardens to match the entries of the World Fair, just *chef's kiss, perfect! Thank you very much for inspiring me with this beautiful build!

@@MedjayofFaiyum I used WASD indeed! 😁 Yes it was a little lagging couse of the density and max graphic settings and also maximum distant details. In menu I deactivated all the icon symbols from the buildings, camera movement very low and I think thats it. Most important is your sense for good views/ pictures.

Wie bekommt man diese breiten Kanäle? Wenn ich Kanäle parallel baue, sind es drei Kanäle nebeneinander, aber nicht ein breiter :/ Außerdem würde mich Dein Layout der Speicherstadt interessieren. Ich hab schon gottweißwie verschachtelt gebaut (Depots zueinander im Carré z.B.) , aber irgendwie hab ich immer noch Platzprobleme.

Moin, also eigentlich kannst du die Kanäle so breit bauen wie du möchtest. Das Kanalbausystem kann vermutlich manchmal etwas eigentümlich sein. Bei der Speicherstadt ist das Problem, dass einige Gebäudeteile eine Anlaufstelle für Schiffe haben, und dadurch nicht in jedem Winkel platziert werden können. Die Gebäude mit Steg wurden nach außen gewendet gesetzt, damit ich in der Mitte Platz für die restlichen Häuser hatte. Ja also ich habe es so verschachelt gebaut, da es platzsparend ist und mir somit eine symmetrische Bauweise gelingen konnte.

@@KabelHeinz Danke Dir für die schnelle Rückmeldung. Hm... dann sind's wohl nicht die Kanäle, von denen es auch Brunnenelemente gibt, oder? Davon hab ich genau 32, dann ist Schluss ;) Welches sind s aber dann? Vielleicht hast Du einen Tipp, in welchem Baumenü genau ich die finde? Meine sind Im Verschönerungsmenü-> Luxuriöse Promenade. Bei der Hafenstadt hast Du aber schon alle Module in Maximalanzahl gebaut, oder? Nutzt Du Mods?

@@Equilion Oh achso. Nein mit den Kanälen die du dir freischalten geht das nicht. Die Kanäle die ich nutze, sind aus dem DLC Fußgängerzone. Mods habe ich bisher nicht genutzt, werde ich jedoch drüber nachdenken. Bei der Speicherstadt könnte ich noch viel meht Module setzen, aber der Platz fehlt. Das Monument ist aber so schon ein mächtiges Tool, hab da mindestens 15 Handelsplätze wo ich überschüssige Ware gegen Mangelware eintausche.

@@KabelHeinz Super! Danke Dir. In dem DLC hätte ich sie nicht gesucht. Grad gleich mal gekauft ;) Die Speicherstadt hab ich bis auf die Reparaturkräne komplett ausgebaut. War ein elendes Gefummel ;)
