Here is the short list of games greater than Sim City (2014 version was just awful) City Skyline - like Sim City, BUT SO MUCH BETTER and richer with contents! heavy focus on zoning, budget, and traffic design. Anno 1800 - simpler than sim city in urban design. beautiful Victorian setting, focus on production, consumption, and logistics. Frostpunk - grim city building, focus on resource and disaster civil infrastructure preparedness. or people die in very sad manner.
