As an experienced player who's been playing since the PC release I have to say this is a very good beginner's guide. I still would recommend to everyone to check out Taka's ultimate guide, which covers everything in detail. I hope you don't mind, Unfiltered Gaming. Your guides will still be useful for console players.

Thank you for great tips! But I am so desperate to find out how to build a sand mine to mine quartz. It’s not in the coastal buildings menu in the console edition or I am blind, idk. But I’ve read and watched several videos and I can’t seem to find it 😭 any tips?

Sadly, my understanding is that the developer took the decision not to add any DLC packs to the console edition, other than cosmetics. If you want anything more complex, DLC wise, in terms of new regions, etc, then you have to get the PC version instead.
