I hope the next anno version gonna be back to medieval era like in anno1404. But make the arab also fully playable. Just like in anno 2070 where we can develop both eco & tycoon settlements. And there is a tech settlement but it's more like an accessory because only 2 level buildings 😅 Edit : and also not too centered on European Christian only. Need to put some Muslim Arab factions too since this is also the era when ottoman start to expand to Europe mainland through the Balkan and Iberian region. And BRING BACK THE LAND INVASION! And overall need to make the world more detailed both in art and also in the mechanism.

I love the vanilla version of the game. Sometimes when all expansions are enabled I feel like there's too much going on so occasionally I'll do vanilla + 1 random expansion.

This is a very good idea. Until now I only watched your setup and I think that makes it very interesting. I played Anno 1800 for many many hours when Covid started. And at that time there was only Vanilla. I know Vanilla well, but I know only some of the DLCs and I don't know them well. So for me this series will be easier to understand (from playing it myself) compared to your series with many DLCs and mods. And "just vanilla" Anno 1800 is already complex and exiting. I am looking forward to this. And now I continue seeing what you do to survive.

Oh my i love this kind of vanilla extreme hard series. But i hope you do allow DLCs like Bright harvest, docklands, and seat of power. Why? Because these 3 DLCs are like.. should be in the main game. What's the point of industrial revolutionary if you dont have machines to do your farm and a busy port life? 😅. Industrial revolution is all about machines and busy port life..

I do love the series, inpicked up the game 5 days ago on xbox. Unfortunaly we dont have any dlc. But everytime i reach artisons i go bankrupt its driving me insane.any tips please?

The reason is probably low population or you built too much of somethings, or both. Schnapps makes more money with workers than farmers, and beer makes more money with artisans than workers. Rum helps to increase your income with artisans but engineers pays a lot more. If the demand is 0 for any goods don’t produce it. If you see at least 1 ton of demand for anything such as fur coats, start to build the production chain. Produce can foods when you cover all the other goods. If you already settled one island beside your main island. Increase the population till the island balance is positive. If the island has potatoes, make it bigger with worker population around a couple thousand. Even though you have a high maintenance cost, the island will cover your negative balance. I believe that your population is too low or you built too many of the production buildings. Observe the statistics and build whatever necessary 👍
