als ich angefangen habe zu üben war das zuerst mit drin die neue Welt, aber das hat mir 5 min mehr zeit gekostet und komischer weise ist die Expedition ins Kab schneller als in die neue Welt.

@@Scrungge he used an item so he increased the max inhibitant number of a house. so he made for example ingeneur houses have 30/33 inhibs while missing one need (without the item u can have 30 max in an ingeneur house). so when he removes the item at 30/33 inhibs he can quickly upgrade the house because there is a short timewindow where the house has 30/30 inhibs without having full needs, before people will leave the house. so the condition for upgrading a house is not having full need supply, but having the max amount of inhibtants in the specific house.

@@milchsauger no this is called an exploid, explids are perfectly fine to use in speedrunning, exept of cause, if they were baned, like in a "no exploid run", or if the exploid was compleatly banned from the speedrun community because it is to powerfull, but even then you can still use the exploid, it would just no be an legitiment run, anno 1800 does not ahve a big speedruning comunity (it's not surprising), but because he didn't called it a "glich free" or "expliod free" run, it's compleatly fine, to use that trick

This method of speedrunning to the highest civ level would not stand a chance against AI opponents without early warfare and significant efforts to support them. But, the knowledge of space-efficient production chain layouts, while including a storehouse almost every time and residing on lengthy crop field areas, is noteworthy.

It is not a glitch. He simply uses items which increase te number of people living in buildings. When you then move a house outside of the radius of the town Hall the house keeps it's inhabitands and you can upgrade it.

@@Tombombalin1 ja, ist richtig. Ich frage mich aber, wie sich die Zeit dann verhält. Es gibt hier auch Videos wo Leute den ersten Investor in knapp ner Stunde machen. Was ist denn nun schneller, eine Stunde auf normal speed oder Deine Zeit auf der schnellsten Geschwindigkeit. Wenn das WR hier für World Record steht, finde ich das schon wichtig.

@@millerliberator8073 Wenn du die anderen "speedrun" videos zu Investor anschaust , achte mal auf den gamespeed, 95% der videos spielen auch mit 3x Gamespeed. Also brauchen sie knapp 30 min Länger und es ist vergleichbar da sie den gleichen Gamespeed verwenden
