Bethany, can you explain to me how a swap really works. I have never done this before.

@@user-ib8hq4xz1n sure! So there are actually different types of swaps and this one that I'm hosting is called a group swap! Everyone who signs up agrees to make all of the listed requirements for the swap and then each participant mails their swap to me, where I record a reveal video showing what you made. After I get alllll 50+ enteries from partipants (by the due date which is July 15th for this one!)then i will send you back what someone else has made and i will send what you made to another participant. So- you will get back AT LEAST what was required in the swap, and sometimes people make "extras" but yeah, the requirements are what you are promised to get back! We like to swap because you get to have handmade crafts from another crafter, maybe find some inspiration , make friends along the way & practice your own craft skills- sometimes the requirements can be a challenge but it's always a fun challenge! By me recording a video of what you send in, it helps my channel grow and it helps you get your name out there in the crafty community- especially if swapping is something you want to do regularly or you have a social media you wnat to promote- i always say who each swap is from & tag them in the videos! This will allow my subscribers to admire your work & follow you (if thats what you want/ not everyone wants to grow a social media but that is one of the perks of doing group swaps like this! ) Does all that make sense? I really need to do a video on how swaps work! :)
