Python sharing in two lines: one line to import delta_sharing, and a second line to get a pandas dataframe from the share! Sweet and simple. Oh, and the Tableau and PowerBI integrations are great too - if you are into this whole new GUI thing! ;-)

I believe it should work cross cloud ( Azure Dataset --> AWS/GCP) . What are the performance , security considerations , limitations and challenges you observed? Are you looking at feature like caching and live table kinda replications in future for the reciepients in this such scenarios?

I am facing error in creating share . Running command -" create share default.annual_enterprise_survey_delta; ". It throwing me error -" no viable alternative at input 'create share'(line 1, pos 7)". I am using community edition of databricks with runtime version 8.2, spark version 3.1.1 and scala version 2.12. Please help me to resolve this error.

This works with S3 server-side encryption, even with customer-managed encryption keys!
