I would have the middle names as the first names. The first names you chose were a mouthful and will surely be shortened. But James, Scott and Lee would be easier on everyone.

@@suelivingston9217 Actually I do have children and I gave them names that can be easily spelled, won't be shortened and other kids won't make fun of them. Locklan will get Lock, Wilder will get Wild and Brisbane will get Bris. That's why I prefer the middle names of James, Scott and Lee. But you are correct in your thought, that it is the parents' prerogative to name their children and they don't need to please other people.

Love the names, though you may not want to shorten Baby C's name to Bris. A Bris is a Jewish circumsision ceremony for baby boys. My husband had a Bris, which is why I know. 😮

For me, it was pretty real just seeing the ultrasound, and knowing the gender. With our first we thought we had a name picked, but it didn't fit him once we saw him. In fact we had a list of 14 names and none of the names fit him. We had to research more names right there in the hospital. The next 2 kids we had longer lists of names so that wouldn't happen again. I just can't imagine being so sure of their name before seeing them in person

Congratulations on your triplets! Praying for three healthy boys. I love the names for baby A and B. However, I am concerned about baby C’s name. Anyone who is Jewish will recognize Bris as a circumcision ceremony, and Leigh is the feminine version of Lee. Just thought you might like to know, because Baby C has to live with whatever name you choose. Best wishes to you!

@@laurasiegal3Same thing as a “Bris”. Both names are correct. I was married to a Jewish man for 20 years. Some of his family were Orthodox Jews, but he was raised conservative. His family was not happy at first that he married a gentile woman. We also did not have a bris for our sons, and his father was very unhappy about it. My ex later became a messianic Jew because of my Christian influence. We are still friends. What the ceremony is called might depend on where you live, and what denomination you belong to.

Her grandmother's maiden name is Scott, I do agree he seems to always have to have things his was tho. She may be just as happy as he is with them since that's going to be some unique names for her children also. And again she may just want to make her husband happy regardless of how she feels. I think he also named their daughter but I honestly don't watch them. I come check on her ever once in awhile because I truly hope she has a healthy pregnancy. Having triplets is HARD work, carrying them to a safe term is even harder.

Locklan because of Lakes? Theres no lake derivative in Locklan. It's either Lachlan or Lochlan. The Gaelic is Laochail or Lochlainn. Must be a remake but either way a loch or lach is a lake and a lock isnt 😊

Ok lets just say that the name Brisbane for a child is very unusual and that is coming from an Aussie. I can see Darwin, Tassy (Tasmania), Adelaide or Sydney being used but definitely not Brisbane. I get that there is a lot of significance to the name and meaning, but still its not something used in naming a child, even for us Aussies. Brizzy could work well. I am not saying this to be mean, but fo someone that was bullied due to their name, I can say it brought a lot of pain. Having a non-English name compared to having a sibling with an English name, it led to a lot of horrible nicknames (along with bullying due to my height). If its ammo that a kid can use, they will use it. Hopefully, the boys will protect each other and be protected by their older sister too.

Locklan is totally spelled wrong. Didn't anybody research these weird names. Lochlan means lake and is literally a girls name. Lockkan means nothing. Has nothing to do with a lake. You can change their names up to age 2 for free. Keep that in mind. They are the ones who have to live with your silly choices, not you.
