I believe that the Shang Tsung Fatality breaking his neck is a reference of how he killed Liu Kang in Deadly Alliance

I think the funniest part about the Goro defeated one is the potential extra context behind Johnny showing up: Goro still owing him a pair of sunglasses, which means Johnny showing up was personal.

There are some interesting details I just noticed, during Baraka's defeat fatal all of the souls that attack him could've been the shaolin monk souls he's been killing and abducting just for catharsis, the Fatality against Reptile made really good use of the music cues that lingers on when his body just floats lifelessly on the shallow water, and when Johnny interrupts the Fatality on Goro the music just abruptly stops. I don't know why but there's something extra funny about interrupting the game's own music for Johnny to steal your thunder and then posing after the Fatality screen before he casually walks away like another Hollywood movie.

I don't have much to say about this video cause I never got into Shaolin Monks at all, but fun video! I wasn't going to leave a comment, but had to after seeing #1. OMG, Kung Lao ripping off all of Kintaro's arms was crazy!!! How have they not brought that fatality back to do on Goro and Kintaro? Way to completely neuter him. That was f*cking awesome lol.

Usually when I comment I throw out suggestions or say something funny but I gotta say I really love your channel! I usually don't subscribe to ranking channels but I really like the music you use in your videos especially the reptile theme remix, your intentionally bad jokes make laugh sometimes, and I absolutely love mortal kombat! Even tho like I said I usually don't sub to these types of channels I found your videos to be throughly entertaining and I love mortal kombat so I said why not :)

OK, not gonna lie, we need more fatalities where you use the opponent's weapons/abilities against them. Maybe as an additional "secret" fatality. Say, your opponent is Cyrax. You COULD use your standard fatalities on him... or you could use one where you take his control panel and trigger his self-destruct function. As he begins to buzz and vibrate, he panics, literally tearing himself open until he finds the override button... and then he explodes a split second before he can press it.

22. Yup, not really different from the vs mode. 21. Slighty better, but like boss Kitana, is just one we can do and looks better without the background be fully dark. 20. Yeah, could have been better for the classic fatality. 19. The ending could have been better. 18. It could have been better, heck, it would have helped that the throne had a special trap for the moment he makes your character sit down. 17. Ok, good mix of one of his fatalities and using the area envioment to turn it into a stage fatality. 16. Yup, it goes too fast. 15. Ok, instead of turning stone out of nowhere and exploding like Mk2, it's a triple effort of Raiden, Lao and Kang. 14. Yeah, you can't always come with a joke and that, but speaking of the finisher, is a good one. 13. Good recreation of one of her MK2 fatalities. 12. Reptile really got a good recreation of the acid finisher. 11. While it ends on black screen, we saw more than enough to let that slide and is a really good 2v1 finisher. 10. Now that's a good stage fatality is you ask me. 9. As you said, how it ended could have been better, but still a nice way to show more of Ermac's powers. 8- Indeed, good teaser for the end, but it's also nice to have a 2v1 finisher in favor of the player. 7- Pun intended at the end with your words I guess, but there's nothing I can add about this one. 6- We can feel Scorpion at the end wasn't really that mad for losing, it's a great interactive one. 5- Yup, boss Scorpion got a great treatment when it comes to the story mode finishers involving him, as he makes a great use of the tools he has in both of his arsenal and the envioremt. 4- The fact of how Johnny Cage comes out of nowhere to finish Goro for you (and is a very simple finisher inspired on both his Sega Genesis and SNES MK censored finisher, as he does his shadow kick but doesn't send the opponent fly away like the censored Genesis finisher and he actually show how lethal the SNES censored is without said censorship) in a good old Johnny Cage fashion cannot be placed any lower, especially with either Kang or Lao's reaction of... "what the heck was that?" at the end. 3- Yup, boss Ermac's defeat was a good one. 2- Boss Reptile's defeat is another banger, better than the second boss Scoprion's defeat. 1- Compared to Goro back in the old 2D games (as Goro is much easier to exploit his AI), easily we would have love to do this to him those days, Shaolin Monks delivered the justice the MK veterans deserved (and of course, Armageddon doesn't count). Even if the weakest ones are ones we can do in vs mode, the Shaolin Monks team showed good care of how a MK spin-off game should be done, as Special Forces was easily the worst of the bunch and Mythologies Sub-Zero as bad as it is, is way much fun to play compared to Special Forces, but neither of those can reach the levels of Shaolin Monks, not to mention that Shaolin Monks has Midway Arcade Treasures 2 emulated version of Mortal Kombat 2 as an unlockable (but I think that's something on the EUR release doesn't have for whatever reason), making Shaolin Monks BOTH a great reimagination of the events of MK2 and having the original MK2 for a good retro joy as a reward of doing side-tasks (in this case, Smoke's tasks).
