Couldn't help but notice it's a full year later and the Stuka looks the same as it did for last year's excellent presentation! Slow and steady wins the race, but I feel like a kid looking for updates on anything that goes on at the museum. Love these videos!

Thank you so much for the landing gear operation demonstration. I'm more of a gear head than I thought I was! SUPER!

These are great. Thanks so much for sharing. I learn something new about the Corsair every time I watch one of these. I had no idea about the greased block in the well to help the tire release in case of a problem. Very cool little tidbit to know. What a gorgeous aircraft.

Fantastic, great video. I did the Corsair landing gear retraction system for my drafting assignment in A/C Maintenance school, great to see how it actually works.

Super cool. I've never seen gear retraction/extension on a Corsair in this kind of detail, especially the rear wheel. Anyone know why CV decided to leave part of the rear wheel exposed when retracted? I'm sure it doesn't matter much from an airflow/aerodynamic standpoint, so that says to me it's either a space thing, or they wanted it out just a bit in case of emergency landings.

Hi Jason. Very nice coverage and that wooden block .Was that a production mod or done in field? Many thanks. Take care and keep safe.

Great clip, thanks for explaining the gear shortening on retraction. Could you also explain how the wheel rotates through 90 degrees?

I’m guessing it’s normal, but that pump sounds like it’s cavitating.
