Me and my husband got to meet Digger last Friday when we stopped in Newport for the night on our way to Chesapeake Virginia. He is so nice and friendly and was nice enough to let us get our picture with him and gave us an autographed postcard that he and Mark signed. We got to the fruit jar alley 5 minutes before it closed and wished that we had more time to shop around. That sense we only live an hour and a half from there we plan on going back soon.

Oh my goodness . I was bought a bottle of Pocorn Sutton's. Then they stopped selling it in Mooresville NORTH CAROLINA..OH HOW I LOVED POPCORN SUTTON ALWAYS TALKED TO HIM IN MAGGIE VALLEY. I heard for the first time of Popkorn's fate in our "Deutschlandfunk - Radio 📻" today " Sonntagsspaziergang what meen's something like" Sundays walk". Popkorn seemed to be typical for a sad fate for a person with an ADD-Syndrome (Attention deficite dysorder). He lost his life, because he did not have the right psychostimulant medicament. Of course He could have taken some alcohol drugs too, to the medicament, but Not in a form, that was so problematic in those times, that he had to go in jaile, there without his "elixire", getting depressiv etc. So this famous festival with music for Popkorn could be also an " ADD - Information and care - festival" too in future, because there are thousands of people who are not informed or treated correctly, some of them even become presidents (! ;-)), but no one cares about the lack of dopamine, that they actually lackibg of. I know, of what I'm talking. I'm glad, that i got to know firstley of this intetesting, funny and tragic story. From germany with love 🙂👍
