What I find hard is, is how to identify which side is the cathode, when some families are not identified in their x-tube, including their portables.

@@meaghanpiretti7340 It makes sense but i'm just confused because i've never seen a tech lay a patient down to make sure they always have the thicker part of the anatomy under the cathode.

I’m struggling to imagine how this looks on the actual tube especially when considering increasing the angle the diagrams help understand what’s happening just not what it looks like on a real tube

If I knew which side was the anode vs the cathode from looking outside of the tube, I would use this in a clinical scenario lol. Our tubes aren’t labeled.
