I would not suggest using any old oil, it is best to use the oil mentioned in Scriptures which is Olive Oil. Exodus 30:23-25 , 25:6, 35:8 1Samuel 10:1, Exodus 35:28 and others. There is a reason why God was specific with what was to be used for the anointing oil. Shalom

Before you do this you must first cleanse your home from the inside out. Get rid of every idolize, demonic, and ungodly items in your home. A clean house is next to a godly home. Do this first then anoint the outside door post.
