I wouldn't be afraid of it, it was only about a meter long, the mouth also likely couldn't close completely so it couldn't bite you. It's teeth also probably wouldn't even hurt your skin since they would be too soft.

This thing evolved one of the worlds first eyes, most other creatures were blind or didn't have the type of 'vision' that humans understand. It was so easy for it to spot prey and just attack it since its one of the only creatures that could actually see prey.

Ya know, how the narrator says that life just went from small microscopic bacteria to complex life during the cambrian explosion like this isn't really true. Before the cambrian, there's the ediacaran period, which also has it's explosion of complex life. So basically the cambrian's not the period that bacteria just suddenly became complex organisms.

Could it be that the occipital spines found so frequently on Cambrian trilobites were a defense mechanism against some sort of anomalocarid. Cambrian stromatolite dominated ecosystems (and the strata represented by them) commonly contain trilobites with these spines. Was some sort of anomalocarid, otherwise not directly recorded in this strata, part of the fauna?

Anomalocaris was the first predator of the world in all time that we know at yet.Your name, anomalocaris 'strange shrimp' is sugestive because he look like this and your evolution is amazing. The world before the Cambrian was with organisms in sea water like worms, alga, bacterias and others multi celled organism without vertebrates and anomalocaris is evolution of this.
