Anonymity in Qualtrics: Voluntary Contact Information

Hey Paul - thanks for this! I am wondering if you know of a way that this may be used to create a key that links the email address and the survey response to a common ID. So they are technically collected separately but the identity can still be uncovered if needed. I understand the timestamp can be used in this way but I wonder if there's a better way.

This was very helpful. Is it possible to do the same, but have the contact question at the start? If I select 'End of Survey' I'm assuming I won't be able to locate that question in any place other than the final question block.

You can put the question "Are you willing to provide contact info" anywhere you like. However, the branch element and the custom end of survey element must be at the end, otherwise your respondents will get sent to the contact info survey before they are done with the main survey
