The problem with the technique you tried is that even if the game throws crazy cards at you you still will end up with a bunch of low cards on the bench

The theory works where you chose the lowest rated yes, but it only works with the starting 11. Not the bench….. try it out

EASHL (NHL pro club equipment) saved EA's NHL franchise & big aspect is human controlled goalies because it makes the gameplay unique unlike cpu the same couple moves work everytime so it's same goals on repeat but even 5v5 cpu GK will be better then UT

You should do the lowest rated draft challenge. Every card in the starting 11 needs to be “in position” so they can get chem but you aim your get the lowest rated cards that don’t link do the don’t get any chem for the lowest rated draft challenge.

I’ve had visibility of the code behind the draft and the players are predetermined on entry to the draft. So picking the lowest rated player when there’s not an elite player available does nothing.

I think you should still try a tactic according to which you will take the lowest-rated players in cases when all the players are 91 or less. And also, after choosing a captain, you can try to recruit a reserve first, and then the main team. I've noticed that when these two tactics are combined, I'm able to assemble the best teams.
