When people discover that this game is a masterpiece in a decade these videos will be the Dead Sea scrolls

Bit of a fun fact with the gun jamming, they also jam when trying to shoot the cows in the village; and the lantern was actually supposed to use fuel as well as a matchstick at some point in development

The bit with the voices is super interesting!! I had never attempted talking with Isidor because i was afraid it would hurt grace more and i love her too much. Great video!!

About the chairs: after watching this video I finished my playthrough and noticed that the metal one on the left is equal to the one that the Inquisitor has in the Cathedral, and the cushioned one is equal to the one in Town Hall that Dora sits on. About each chair corresponding to one of the healers, I see your point. The game is obsessed with trios, but I don't think they always match correctly with the healers. As an example, the Stone Yard has the Polyhedron which is associated to the Bachelor, the Knots have the Theater which is associated to the Changeling, and the Earth has the Abbatoir which is associated to the Haruspex. However, the Olgimskys live in the Knots and are associated to the Haruspex, and the Saburovs live in the Earth and are associated to the Changeling. In a similar way, even when trios match to our healers, the "position" of the triangle might change. You can see the Bachelor as being opposed to the Haruspex, and the Changeling being the middle term, but I would argue that you can also interpret the Haruspex as being the middle term. For example, in the Pathologic 2 artbook, the developers describe the Bachelor as "solids + upward vector", the Haruspex as "water + forward vector" and Clara as "vapor + sideways vector"; in terms of states of matter the Haruspex is in between them, and in terms of vectors they are simply along independent axes. As a final comment, from the angle in which you see the play in the dream, the Haruspex is in the right, the Changeling in the middle, and the Bachelor on the left. If I had to guess, the chairs would be distributed in the same way. I think that whether we are looking for meaning where there is none or not, it is a testament to the depth and attention to detail of Pathologic 2 that the community keeps finding these things and attributing meaning to them. It is likely that we have given meaning to things the devs didn't consider, and it is part of the game now.

The Pass thing reminds me of this one playthru where the Bachelor and an executor were on Isidor's doorstep at night time. I forget what happened, but I guess I never entered Isidor's house that day or smthn cause the Bachelor gave me a key

I had a quirky thing happen in a recent playthrough. On day 3, if you meet with Georgiy Kain and he sends you to the house in the skinner's with the prefect, you can get double loot. I believe that house is supposed to be your intro to looting infected districts, and it is has more of a custom setup than random houses. If you go there close to when the bells ring to start the next event, however, it becomes a regular, random house and is suddenly full of sick, dying, and dead NPCs and all the places to loot are re-randomized. The prefect, the patrolling plague cloud, and the stationary plague cloud remain there. I think it's just a quirk of how events overlap rather than some intended thing, but it is a way to get an incredible amount of loot early and _somewhat_ more safely than random plague houses.

Hmm maybe Clara's chair design is supposed to resemble a stained glass window? To match with her religious theme. Or perhaps she is actualy represented by the wooden chair since it's the most "hastily" put together just like her original route was + nails, wood, Jesus imagery? Maybe? And Artemy's chair would be the metal one with the intricate designs maybe representing the Lines??? Idk to be honest but I'm a sucker for that kind of symbolism so I hope it was intentional. Great video!

Maybe the metal chair would symbolize Clara’s connection with the saburovs?
@MecanthroАй бұрын
The wooden chair fits Clara better, crudely put together, and the intricate design goes well with Artemy's rigid steppe traditions.

14:08 I think that the chairs symbolize affection for the city, the Bachelor came from the capital, his chair is more comfortable and beautiful, the Haruspex has an ordinary chair, he is a man who has lived in this city for a long time, the Changeling has a chair nailed down and looks terrible, she literally crawled out of the ground and most of all attached to the city.

very cool that you have the game on pc now! one thing I've noticed is during the intro before entering Isidor's house where he speaks out the letter, you can use the free cam and go out of bounds to the right past the fence. there you will see that many of the roads are blue and texture-less for some reason. another thing about the free cam, you can travel faster using it by pressing forward and also left or right. this will double the speed you travel at. thank you for this awesome video! :3

On Day 1, when you are out of the jail and free to move in the Town Hall, it is possible to go past the divider, where some bureaucrats are located together with three Tragedians (none of them are interactable though)

Wooden chair is Clara, as she doesn’t need any decorations or comfort, to sit down is to sit down Artemy sees between the lines, he has the left chair, and bachelor use the one with luxury
@ashenwhite30484 ай бұрын
claras chair is probably like that because of her association with the law and also religion. its metal and strong like the law, but simple and plain because of her kind of monk like thing

Something is wrong about death count on day 1, Simon Kain dies with Isidor. Why is the number still 7? Idk, maybe devs forgot. Or, maybe, you didnt save a guy surrounded by 4 man. Anyway, 7 is a cool number for deaths.

shouldn't there be 8 dead people on day 1 if we count Simon Kain?
@Andy_North3 ай бұрын
I questioned the same thing when I was making that fact but it’s never said exactly when Simon dies. The kains say something along the lines of “we’ve lost someone recently as well” and the townsfolk mostly speak of Isidor’s death on day 1, which lead me to believe Simon must have died at least a few days before Artemy arrives in town. Although it is possible I’m wrong

I think there was something in Pathologic 1 about Simon not being entirely dead (in a weird metaphorical way) with his soul being preserved in a Focus. Perhaps it has something to do with that.

I'm so confused. I gave the orders to the commander and they destroyed Polyheidron. I should get Good Ending (Diurnal Ending) but I got a Fellow Traveler (Bad Ending) ending. I don't know what I did wrong. I forgave Oyun. I saved the children. 4 or 5 people died. I don't know. By the way, when I took blood after Polyheidron was destroyed, the game froze there and the 12th day was written on the screen. The game wanted me to go to the Theatre. Can you explain?

@PixGame basically, after you die a certain number of times, the fellow traveler appears in the theatre and offers to remove all the handicaps in exchange for "something". this locks you into the traveler's ending

iirc if you die 7 times, the traveler offers a deal that removes the negative effects of dying in exchange for your final day. It locks you into that ending edit: whoops for some reason I didn't see that someone answered you until after I replied lol
